DOHO business establishment was founded at 4, Inari-cho, Taito-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
In 1963: The system of Slit Processing and Sales in-house started as a field’s pioneer.
In 1965: Acquisition of Oike Copper and Brass Co., Ltd.
Started purchasing of brass products from Nippon Mining Co., Ltd.
(Current: JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation) and became a Sales agent.
In 1966: Started business with Showa Aluminum Corporation and became a designed distributor.
In 1970: Due to business expansion, head office was transferred to Ohanajaya, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo.
Started business with Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Aluminum Co., Ltd.
and became a designed distributor.
In 1983: Started importing Copper-brass products from Korea Poongsan metal industrial Co., Ltd.
(Current: Poongsan Japan Corporation).
In 1987: Started exporting Copper-brass products to Hong Kong.
In 1989: Started exporting Copper-brass products to Singapore.
In 1995: Founded affiliate company, Doho Hong Kong Limited.
Took a stake in New Katsushika Metal Industries Co., Ltd.
In 1996: Established Chinese factory relative to DOHO Metals of Sales and Slit Processing of Copper-brass
products located in Yu Liang Wei Precinct, Qing Xi Town, Dong Guan City G.D. China.
In 2001: Due to Chinese business expansion, founded “DOHO Metal products (Dongguan) limited.”
In 2003: Transferred business of Chinese factory relative to DOHO Metal industries located in
Liang Wei Precinct to Tangxia Town, Dongguan city, Guangdong Province, China.
Foreign Sales was started as a company name of “DOHO Metal products (Dongguan) limited.”
In 2007: Company name of the affiliate company,
New Katsushika Metal Industries Co., Ltd. was changed to J-Slit Co., Ltd.
In 2008: DOHO Head office’s representative office was opened in Shanghai, China.
“Liidmex Co.,Ltd.” was founded in Seoul, Korea.
In 2009: Absorption-type merger of Sanko Metal Co., Ltd.
Intermediate holding company and Regional headquarters “DOHO ASIA HOLDINGS” was founded in
Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
In 2010: Closed head office’s representative office in Shanghai, China, and founded subsidiary
“Asia Trading (Shanghai) Limited.”
In 2011: Coil center business was launched together with Daiken Co., Ltd. in Cebu, Philippines
(Inside YM-Technology Inc.)
In 2012: Head office was transferred to Horidome-cho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo and changed company name to
Founded the department of Recycling business and started re-entry into the Recycling business field.
In 2013: Started purchasing stainless steel from Shanghai STAL Precision Stainless Steel Co., Ltd.
In 2014: Head office was transferred to Shinkawa, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
In 2015: Started new sales scheme of Copper-brass products with Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd.
In 2017: Head office was transferred to Tsutsumidori, Sumida-ku, Tokyo.
Tohoku office opens in Sendai
In 2018: Celebrated the 70th anniversary of our founding
Received "eco-action 21" certification at Yashio recycling center
In 2019: Nagano office opens in Matsumoto
Onahama recycle technical centar opens in Iwaki
