1948 DOHO business established at 4 Inaricho, Taito-ku, Tokyo
1963 Started a system to sell slit processing at our company, as a pioneer in the industry
1965 Acquired Oike Copper and Brass Co., Ltd.
Started purchasing brass products from Nippon Mining Co., Ltd. (currently JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation), and became a first sales agent
1966 Started doing business with Showa Aluminum Corporation, and became a regular distributor
1970 Moved our Headquarters to Ohanajaya, Katsushika-ku in conjunction with the expansion of our business
Started doing business with Mitsubishi Corporation/Mitsubishi Aluminum Co., Ltd., and became a designated distributor
1983 Started importing copper products from Poongsan Metal Industrial Co., Ltd. (currently Poongsan Japan Corporation), and established our first overseas distributor
1987 Started exporting copper products to Hong Kong
1989 Started exporting copper products to Singapore
1995 Established affiliate company DOHO Hong Kong Limited
Took a stake in Shin Katsushika Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd.
1996 Established DOHO Metals China Plant, for sales of copper products and slit processing, in Qingxizhen, Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China
2001 Established DOHO Metal Products (Dongguan) Limited (owned company) in conjunction with expansion of our business in China
2003 Transferred operations of DOHO Metals China Plant, located in Qingxi, Shaoshan, to Tangxiazhen, Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China
Started doing business overseas under the trade name of "DOHO Metal Products (Dongguan) Limited"
2007 Affiliate company Shin Katsushika Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. changed their name to J-Slit CO., LTD.
2008 Established a representative office of DOHO Headquarters in Shanghai, China
Established Liidmex Co., Ltd. in Seoul, South Korea
2009 Absorbed and merged with Sanko Metal Co., Ltd.
Established an intermediate share-holding local holding company, “DOHO ASIA HOLDINGS,” in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China
2010 Closed the representative office of the Headquarters in Shanghai, China, and established our local subsidiary Tongya Trading (Shanghai) Limited
2011 Established a factory for slitting in cooperation with Daiken Co., Ltd. in Cebu, the Philippines
2012 Moved our Headquarters to Horidome-cho, Chuo-ku, and changed the company name to "DOHO Corporation"
Resumed participation in our recycling business
2013 Started purchasing stainless steel from Shanghai STAL Precision Stainless Steel Co., Ltd
2014 Moved our Headquarters to Shinkawa, Chuo-ku
2015 Started new scheme for sales of wrought copper products with Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd.
2017 Moved our headquarters to Tsutsumidori, Sumida-ku
Established Tohoku Office in Sendai City
2018 Welcomed the 70th anniversary since our founding
Received Eco-Action 21 certification, the Economic management System formulated by MOE at our Yashio Recycling Center
2019 Established Nagano Office in Matsumoto City
Established Onahama Recycling Technical Center in Iwaki City
Established representative office for Tongya Trading (Shanghai) Limited in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China
Moved Tohoku Office to Aoba-ku Sendai
2020 Moved to Nihombashi Ningyocho, Chuo-ku
Changed our corporate identity
Welcomed the representative office as our local subsidiary, and renamed Doho Asia Trading (Dailien) co., LTD. located in Dailien, Liaoning Sheng China

Transfer of the recycling business
